Zahila Bi has been a seasoned practitioner in UK inbound immigration, nationality, and asylum law for nearly two decades. She established Quebec Law in Leeds in 2018, and since then, the firm has consistently expanded over the years.
A Legal Director in the firm’s Immigration team, Zahila has extensive experience advising businesses, individuals, and families on all facets of UK Immigration Law. Since qualifying as a solicitor, Zahila has dedicated her career exclusively to this practice area, equipping her to assist a diverse clientele at multiple stages of their immigration journey.
Zahila offers advice and guidance to businesses across various sectors, covering all aspects of immigration issues. These include counselling on sponsor licence applications and managing these licences; aiding with annual Certificate of Sponsorship allocation requests and augmentations; instructing on the procedures for assigning both defined and undefined Certificates of Sponsorship; reporting modifications; outlining the proper methods for conducting Right to Work checks on both prospective and current employees; and delivering training on the Sponsor Management System whilst performing immigration audits.
For individual and familial clients, Zahila provides counsel on entering the UK, applying for leave to remain, and advancing their applications for indefinite leave to remain. Ultimately, she can facilitate the submission of applications for British citizenship. Zahila can also handle entry clearance applications for those seeking to visit the UK, join their family, or meet the criteria of the Points-Based System. Her proficiency extends to a multitude of Leave to Remain applications, such as those involving human rights, spouse and partner visas, Global Talent visas, Skilled Worker visas, and Student visas, in addition to Global Business Mobility visa applications to the Home Office.
