Solicitor

Satbir Lally

Satbir Lally leads Quebec Law’s Commercial Dispute Resolution work and acts for individuals and businesses in complex and high-value disputes. He is known for a responsive, strategic and practical approach, with a clear focus on identifying the issues that matter and setting defined objectives from the outset.

His work includes contractual disputes, professional negligence claims, property development disputes including overage and joint venture agreements, commercial contract litigation, partnership disputes and civil fraud. Earlier in his career, Satbir acted in matters involving well-known organisations including Rolls-Royce, Telefónica UK (O2), Tesco, QBE Insurance and AIG.

Satbir’s approach is to reduce complex disputes to their essential issues and then pursue a coherent strategy towards settlement or trial. He places particular emphasis on understanding the client’s commercial objectives and the wider consequences of the dispute, rather than allowing legal process to become an end in itself.

Satbir graduated from the University of Huddersfield in 2007 and completed the Legal Practice Course at BPP Law School in Leeds in 2008.

“My approach to dispute resolution is straightforward and pragmatic. I focus on understanding the client’s objectives, identifying the issues that truly matter and executing a clear strategy with the commercial context always in view.”
